Mangoes sits high on a ridge & overlooks the beautiful Erakor Lagoon in Port Vila. The resort is exclusively for adults.

Well-removed from the downtown city centre. the resort is tucked away by itself, with 20 tastefully appointed, detached bungalows, two swimming pools and restaurant. Couples may also choose to dine in their bungalow or on their balcony and in-house massages can be arranged. It is a walk or a short bus ride to Vila town and there is a tour desk offering tours and activities.

Mangoes is one of the few Vanuatu resorts that also offers privacy for gay couples.

Restaurant

The stylish Mangoes Resort Restaurant & Bar, set amidst a verdant tropical garden, is open every day from 7 AM to late, to Resort guests and others.

The Resort restaurant can accommodate up to 60 people. However, bookings are advisable for evening meals.

Their menu features a delectable selection of fine international and local cuisine, including some of the freshest local seafood and a variety of Vanuatu renowned beef dishes.

For breakfast, lunch or dinner - simply order à la carte, and let their executive chef serve you some of their finest fare. The chef and his team have received lavish reviews for dishes such as their famous coconut crab, lobster, prime Santo beef and mouth-watering Mangoes Cheesecake!

If you are looking for something to quench your thirst, try the local Tusker beer at Mangoes or one of their impressive tropical cocktails or fine selection of Australian & New Zealand wines.

Accommodation

Mangoes 20 deluxe bungalows are just a short walk from the Port Vila town centre. Situated on the southeast side of the Island, all rooms receive cool trade-winds throughout the day. You have the choice of a Garden-View Bungalow, a Lagoon View Bungalow or a self-catering Bungalow.

Garden-View Bungalow

Queen/Twin bedroom bungalow with en-suite bathroom featuring fully tiled bathrooms with large showers. Couch, tropical artwork, refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities, and a balcony looking over the lush tropical gardens or one of two pools. The rooms are stylishly designed with rosewood timber joinery, plantation shutters and proper ceilings. They also have ceiling fans and some rooms are air-conditioned.

Lagoon View Bungalow

A Queen/Twin bedroom bungalow with en-suite bathroom featuring fully tiled bathrooms with large showers. Couch, tropical artwork, refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. It offers a private balcony from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Erakor Lagoon. The rooms are airy and beautifully designed with exquisite timber joinery, plantation shutters and ceiling fans.

Self Catering Bungalow

Queen/Twin bedroom bungalow with en-suite bathroom featuring fully tiled bathrooms with large showers. Couch, tropical artwork, fully equipped kitchen with an oven and refrigerator. They also feature a balcony overlooking the lush tropical gardens or the swimming pool. The rooms are well ventilated and boast some stunning rosewood timber joinery, plantation shutters and ceilings fans.
